Association was registered at the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina as independent, non-governmental, non-profitable organization, established voluntary and on indefinite period of time, which acts on the entire territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina..
Basic goals and activities of the Association are:
- gathering and organizing the members towards exchange of experiences and opinions by reason of their successful activities in the banking sector,
- cooperation with the banks and authorized state organs and organizations on production of drafts of regulations and other documents, and their changes, with the goal of finding most favourable solutions for legal problems and advancement of law system and its further development,
- advancement of the work of law departments and lawyers in the banking sector, protection of branch interests and affirmation of the place and role of the lawyers in society,
- providing law assistance to the lawyers who do on law issues in banking and in relation to banking,
organizing professional debates, lectures, seminars, conferences and study travellings with the aim of exchange of ideas and experiences with similar associations in the world,
- publishing brochures, books and other publications in the domain of banking with the aim of realization of the goals of the Association
- cooperation with similar associations and other organs and organizations in the country and in the world.
